The following terms and conditions apply to all orders which are processed by Homecinematv either online or by any other form of communication and form part of the contract between us.
Prices
All prices include VAT. No contract is created until we have accepted your order. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers we will not process your order and will instead alert you immediately to the actual price of the goods. You will then have the option to proceed at this updated price. We will only process any such order with your explicit authority.
Delivery
Our aim is to deliver all goods ordered within 10 working days. We can only deliver to the British Mainland (British Mainland does not include Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man). If the product that you have selected is not available at the time of placing your order, and it is necessary for us to order directly from the Manufacturer, you will be contacted within 48 hrs. We will keep you updated with the progress of your order if the item is on back order. Prices quoted are subject to stock availability. It is your responsibility to check your goods upon delivery for shortages or damage and to make a note of such on the carriers consignment note when you sign for the goods.
We will provide a specific delivery day wherever possible but we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses you might incur as a result of a delay in receiving your goods on the allocated day.
Where a pre arranged agreed day has been given for a delivery and that delivery fails due to there being no one at the address to sign for the goods then the customer maybe liable to pay additional delivery charges for follow up/subsequent deliveries.
IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times agreed. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
Recycling of electrical and electronic equipment
Customer Statement
The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations require that all retailers of electrical goods assist in delivering a UK wide WEEE collection system and encourage consumers in the participation of recycling electronic equipment.
There are several different ways this can be done You may take the item to your local council site or you can contact your local council offices to arrange for a home collection of WEEE, there may be a small charge for home collections alternatively you can bring the item in to one of our stores. Please contact us and we will let you know the nearest location.
Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams and much of it can be recycled and resources recovered to make new consumer goods. All electrical items sold now carry the 'crossed out wheeled bin' symbol.
Do not place unwanted electrical goods into the normal domestic waste stream. Please contact us if you are unsure of what to do with unwanted electrical goods.
Products
Product images, descriptions and specifications are shown for guidance only; for example cabinet/case colours may vary, TV stands shown may differ from those supplied, remote control designs may vary during manufactures' production run etc. Some products may require set-up and/or assembly; for example TV's, videos and Hi-fi tuners may need manually tuning. TV stands/cabinet stands may need assembly.
Payment
Payment will be taken at the time the order is placed. A contract between us is not formed until we have processed the transaction and started the dispatch process. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards. We also accept payment by cheque and postal order. We use Equifax Cheque Services, a division of Equifax Plc, to guarantee any cheque.
Promotional discount codes
Money off promotional discount codes for use on our website, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Guarantee
All products are supplied guaranteed for a minimum period of one year following the date of delivery. All products are supplied for domestic use only.
Extended warranties are available to purchase on-line and by telephone. Please contact us for further details.
Whether we arrange collection or you return the goods at your own expense it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods are adequately packaged for collection, we will accept no responsibility for damage that occurs due to inadequate packaging.
IMPORTANT: If we incur charges for servicing, call out charges or carriage for an item/s that is/are not found to be faulty then these costs could be chargeable.
Complaints
Any complaints regarding the goods or services supplied should be made to the above address. All complaints will be responded to within 24hrs (during the working week).

Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days following the day after the date of delivery and return the goods supplied to us for a refund. You must notify us in writing during this period of your intention to cancel by either:

Should you wish to cancel your order, any goods supplied must be returned to Homecinematv, Inspections Dept, 3 Fison Way, Thetford, Norfolk, IP24 1HT, at your own expense within 7 days of your notice to cancel. Providing the goods are returned with all accessories including any free gifts you will receive a full refund, less any collection charges, within 30 days of giving us your notice to cancel. We are unable to accept back goods for a credit if they are unwanted gifts or non-faulty items 7 days after the purchase date.
We are unable to accept back for refund the following product types unless they are faulty or were supplied as part of the main product purchase;
Unsealed blank video tapes, blank DVD discs and blank mini discs.
The following tariff applies to products returned missing the original factory packed accessories. The prices are for guidance, the actual price may vary.
