General

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders which are processed by HomeCinemaTV either online or by any other form of communication and form part of the contract between us. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Prices

All prices include VAT. No contract is created until we have accepted your order. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers we will not process your order and will instead alert you immediately to the actual price of the goods. You will then have the option to proceed at this updated price. We will only process any such order with your explicit authority.

Delivery

Our aim is to deliver all goods ordered within 10 working days. If you live of the UK Mainland we may be able to you, please enter your post code on the product page to check. Within 48hrs of placing your order, we will contact you to confirm the delivery arrangements. If the product that you have selected is not available at the time of placing your order, and it is necessary for us to order directly from the Manufacturer, you will be contacted within 48 hrs. We will ensure that you are kept fully informed of the progress of your order with updates every 7 days. Prices quoted are subject to stock availability. It is your responsibility to check your goods upon delivery for shortages or damage and to make a note of such on the carriers consignment note when you sign for the goods.

Recycling of electrical and electronic equipment

From 1 July 2007, the UK’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations will allow members of the public to deposit old electrical and electronic items at recycling sites across the UK, free of charge.

Electrical and Electronic Equipment waste is, increasing by at least 5% each year. The public dispose of over 1.2 million tonnes of waste every year in the UK, and landfill sites are now approaching full capacity. Much of this waste can be recycled, to make new consumer goods. The WEEE regulations aim to reduce the quantity of electrical and electronic items disposed of in this way, and will encourage everyone to play a part in protecting the environment for future generations.

As retailers of electrical and electronic products, we fully support this regulation, and in anticipation we have joined together with some of the UK’s leading electrical retailers to create and fund a new body - the Distributor Take-Back (DTS) scheme - which will help develop a new UK recycling network for waste electrical products. Over the next three years, the scheme will make available more than £10 million to establish and upgrade recycling facilities across the UK, so that customers can conveniently recycle old electrical appliances.

Products

Product images, descriptions and specifications are shown for guidance only; for example cabinet/case colours may vary, TV stands shown may differ from those supplied, remote control designs may vary during manufactures' production run etc. Some products may require set-up and/or assembly; for example TV's, videos and Hi-fi tuners may need manually tuning. TV stands/cabinet stands may need assembly.

Payment

Payment will be taken at the time the order is placed.  A contract between us is not formed until we have processed the transaction and started the dispatch process. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards. We also accept payment by cheque and postal order. We use Equifax Cheque Services, a division of Equifax Plc, to guarantee any cheque .

Guarantee

All products are supplied guaranteed for a minimum period of one year following the date of delivery.

Extended Warranties

It may be possible to extend the manufacturers standard warranty. If a warranty is available it will shown with the product and can be added to the basket at the time of placing your order.

Complaints

Any complaints regarding the goods or services supplied should be made to the above address. All complaints will be responded to within 24hrs (during the working week).

Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days following the day after the date of delivery and return the goods supplied to us for a refund. You must notify us in writing during this period of your intention to cancel by either:

Should you wish to cancel your order, any goods supplied must be returned to HomeCinemaTV, Inspections Dept, 3 Fison Way, Thetford, Norfolk, IP24 1HT, at your own expense within 7 days of your notice to cancel. An administration fee of £5.00 will be applied unless the unit is defective. Providing the goods are returned in original condition complete with all packaging, in an �As new condition�* and all accessories including any free gifts you will receive a full refund, less any delivery and/or collection charges and administration charges, within 30 days of giving us your notice to cancel. We are unable to accept back goods for a credit if they are unwanted gifts or non-faulty items 7 days after the purchase date.

We are unable to accept back for refund the following product types unless they are faulty or were supplied as part of the main product purchase;

The following tariff applies to products returned missing the original factory packed accessories. The prices are for guidance, the actual price may vary.

* As New Condition � is defined as un-used and if the box has been opened then the product must be placed back in the undamaged original box without causing damage to the product or packaging.

Price Promise

Price Promise applies to an identical product found at electrical retailers only, in stock, boxed with the same offer at a better price within 7 days. Written details on request.
